I don't think you can move a moved thread.

It's all relative anyway.

And since when does NEO stay on topic?

Some guy I met @ school today was talking cars with me, i mention i had a 240sx, he started throwing words @ me like SR20 etc. and asked what engine i had, i told him i had a KA24DEAD. He was like WHOAH and totally acted like he knew what i was talking about and that it was a kickass engine.

I know 3 persons having 240's, and they never had any problems with the KA, and neither have I. Reading this post, seems the engine is crap. I have also spoken with a nissan technissian and he said he never saw a major problem on thoses cars, the usual bugs, that's all. I'm curious on the reliability of the engine with a turbo inside. I've met Ken last weekend, his setup is really clean, with no problems. I basically have the same turbo, hope I'll be so lucky too. It was quite something.

Edit: Unless under high boost, I've never read anything about problems.....but boosting any engine that is not designed for it will cause you to possibly run into problems when getting into higher boost and if the engine has high km's to begin with.

That's a good reason why the SR handles boost very well, because the rods, pistons and crank are all designed to be boosted. A engine designed to be boosted in most cases (unless the company is cheap or doesn't care what the engine can do) a turbo'd or supercharged engine will have stronger internals to deal with the extra pressure.
