Nice, needs more pictures.

Reminds me of my last road trip across California, looks a lit like the Mono lake region, but a bit more dried out. Didn't had a chance to get to death Valley, looks like I missed out. The highest temperature I've experienced there was 105, good thing the camaro had AC.

We were supposed to spend a week in the S14 on the back roads of Pennsylvania and New York, but Irene did a fair bit of damage in the Poconos and Catskills.

Made a last minute decision to go to Vegas. Hated the town so much we spent pretty much all our time in the car...Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, Mount Charleston (55 degrees F  ), Grand Canyon.

Rental was a Dodge Avenger so anything but exciting, but the A/C worked well! Scenery was spectacular.

I've got a bunch more pics I'll post.

Does not compute.

We had a nice upgrade to a one bedroom suite on the 56th floor

Vegas is too busy, too noisy, too crowded. Couldn't take two steps without some hustler trying to get at you. Jerks were even trying to pass hooker business cards to Lady Leadfoot.

It's a place you should visit once, but once was enough.
