GTR Juke?

Postby bartyb on Thu Oct 06, 2011 2:01 pm

That little car grows on me each time I see one, and now it just grew a lot more.
I'm glad Nissan still has the balls to come up with some very original and bold designs.
So once more, Nissan, please change the ugly a$$ sentra!

GTR Juke is a pretty cool project. Too bad it will be one of those one-off projects that will never make production.

As for Nissan....
Cube = original (although it looks like a washing machine) i don't think I could bring myself to buy one.
Juke = original (but i am still on the fence if I like it or not)
370z = don't touch it... its perfect. At least the coupe is.
GTR = its almost perfect... put a manual transmission in it. NOW!

Versa = was decent years ago... needs a facelift badly
Altima = same
Maxima = same
Rogue = same

Sentra = terrible
Murano = terrible
Pathfinder = same
Armada = same
Frontier = same
Quest = same
Titan = doesn't look bad... but has such terrible reliability issues it needs to go in the melting pot too.
Altima coupe = What a joke.
370z roadster = Essence of homosexuality.
Sentra SER = Lesbian essence.

The majority of the lineup needs an overhaul badly. So does their build quality. I had a 2012 pathfinder a couple of weekends ago... what a piece of plastic shit. Terrible on gas... like really terrible, my 99 4Runner with 250k on the clock gets better gas mileage.

They should have a sit down meeting with Ford and learn a few things about turning the brand around.

Oddball project... Interesting, but I wonder what they'll do with it? We coudl offer to run it at Traga next year I guess :-)

Yeah, it's way improved over the original 350Z, but I've gotta admit I like the G370S much better.. I'd love the tharash both of them back to back to see which one is better!

buhahah.. alright I did the 30second read,
"The Juke-R is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine directly from the Nissan GT-R. The GT-R’s six-speed transaxle is inherited, with front and rear ends joined by a modified GT-R 4WD driveline and prop shaft. A set of 20 inch RAYS forged alloy wheels will be fitted to the car."
I guess I dont really care to know much about the production juke but after looking that up, it's fwd.
